3rd & 4th Grade Spirit
Cheshire Junior Cheer’s 3rd & 4th Grade Spirit Team will consist of new and returning cheerleaders. On this team our cheerleaders will learn the basic fundamentals of becoming a cheerleader in an exciting, laid back atmosphere. Practices will be held from 5:30-8:00 two nights a week, Monday and Wednesday starting July 27th and lasting through the entire month of August, at Bartlem Park. These practices are mandatory for the girls to be confident and safe on the football field at games. Once the season starts, practices are held for approximately one hour prior to each game. Most of the games will be home games at Cheshire High School, with the possibility of a few away games. These cheerleaders will cheer on the sidelines during the games and perform a halftime routine or dance. We look forward to bringing our new and retuning cheerleaders together to practice the fundamentals of Cheer.
5th through 8th Grade Spirit
5th through 8th Grade Spirit continues to advance the cheerleader’s skills, and techniques as the cheerleaders get older. Cheerleaders on these teams will learn more intricate walls, dances, and motions. New cheerleaders are always welcome to join at any grade. Practices will be held from 5:30-8 two nights a week, Monday and Wednesday starting July 27th and lasting through the entire month of August, at Bartlem Park. There are so many fun and exciting things to learn, so practices are mandatory. Cheerleaders will cheer for both home and away games. Game schedule will be communicated as soon as it is set. Once the season starts, practices are held one hour prior to each game. These cheerleaders will cheer on the sidelines during the games and perform more involved halftime routines.
